THE DRINK EXCHANGE helps venues run live market pricing, venue TV screens, POS integrations, customer live boards and event support. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and how to contact us about privacy.

Information We Collect

We may collect account details such as your name, business name, email address, venue settings, billing status and configuration details needed to connect services such as POS systems, TV displays, social channels and Stripe.

When you connect a POS or another third-party service, we store only the connection details needed to operate the features you enable, such as account identifiers, access credentials, sync status and related setup information.

How We Use Information

When you submit a venue request, we use your business and contact details to review your application and contact you about your venue setup. Submitting a request does not activate a licence or start billing.

We use information to provide THE DRINK EXCHANGE, manage your account, run venue events, update connected POS pricing, support TV and mobile live views, process billing, improve reliability and respond to support requests.

Venue Business Enquiries

We may find a venue's published business contact details through search services and the venue's own website, and use them to introduce THE DRINK EXCHANGE where the message is relevant to operating that venue. We record the source, venue location, suitability evidence and contact history. We rely on legitimate interests where business outreach is permitted, or recorded permission where required.

We use Brave Search for research, Smartlead and Microsoft for email delivery, and our hosting and database providers to operate this process. We keep contact and delivery history to manage enquiries, avoid repeated approaches and honour opt-outs. To object to outreach, reply “no thanks”. You can also request access, correction or deletion, or ask about our use of your business contact details, by emailing chris@drinkexchange.co.uk. We retain an opt-out record to prevent further outreach.

Third-Party Services

THE DRINK EXCHANGE may connect with third-party platforms including Stripe, supported POS providers and social platforms where enabled. Those services process information under their own privacy policies. You can disconnect integrations from within the dashboard where supported.

Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only where needed to operate THE DRINK EXCHANGE, comply with legal obligations, process payments, connect integrations or provide support.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect account and integration data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep access limited and controlled.

Your Choices

You can request access, correction, deletion or disconnection of your account information by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained where required for billing, security or legal reasons.
